Lifestyle - Kitchen Makeover Part 3 Wishlist

Now that the kitchen is nearly done, there is just a little more painting to do, I am finding myself looking for those finishing touches we have known for the last few years when wanted to go for reds and creams in there so I have a good idea what I want.

The first thing I know that I want for the kitchen is a clock, it is such a huge room that I didn't want a tiny little wall clock, so have been looking out for something nice and big, I came across the perfect one just before Christmas in Matalan and will be getting it asap for the back wall that we have wallpapered.
Clock
it is about 25in across and an antique off white colour which I think I may rub with a little wax coloured with the cream we are using for the walls to make it fit it perfectly.

Utensils
I love Le Creuset but it is definitely at the higher end of the price range but these utensils are gorgeous and I can add to them as and when we have spare funds.

I need some bookends for my shelves once I get them up as I keep all my recipe books and gardening books in the kitchen, kind of loving these for my recipe books and the ones below are awesome too!

Pans
New pans are a must, as mine were purchased a very long time ago and they have seen better days, I quite like these as they will look just as good on my hob as off, I would love Le Cruset but they are way out of out price range for now!

Dining Set
I hadn't even thought of Simply Be for kitchen items, but these plates came up when I was searching for all the tartan items and I have fallen in love!

There are still a million and one other things I would like to buy but these are at the top of my list for now. Do you have a colour theme for your kitchen?

Fatshion Faceoff - Statement Belt

Sorry I missed out on last weeks Fatshion Faceoff post, it seemed to be a bit of a disaster blogging wise, the post I had scheduled for wednesday didnt psot and wasnt in blogger anymore when I checked, and my computer had to go in to have its hard drive replaced on the thursday so lost all the pictures I had taken the day before.

But I am back on schedule this week and have managed to get my post sorted!

This weeks Fatshion Faceoff is a statement belt, mine is only a little statement, but I wanted to show that even a little accessory can make all the difference to even a casual outfit!

This is one of my favourite everyday dresses it is comfortable, and dog proof which for my everyday life is exactly what I need!

it is from Matalan which is where the belt is from as well and is teamed with my Simply Be leggings and Newlook flats.

This is the dress without a belt, it is fine, but a little shapeless and bland.

This is my little horse belt from Matalan.

And the dress with the belt, it just adds a little something and excuse me slouching my boobs do not normally try to devour the belt!

I am loving all the signs of spring outside, these 3 ducks were taking a snooze behind me.

Check out the other gorgeous ladies, they as always will look awesome!

The post which I missed last week should be up over the weekend, as soon as I have time to stop for 5 minutes.

OOTD - SimplyBe and Ax Paris Curve

Wanted to give you ladies a little look at my outfit from today, I ordered this dress from Simply be from the Ax Paris range a while ago and I am in love the colours are so perfect and it is so soft to touch that I can't help loving wearing it.

Ax paris really do produce some fabulous items, I also bought a gorgeous soft touch jumper from the range that I will show you as soon as I get a chance.

The dress has been worn and washed and has done really well I was a little worried about the fabric fraying as it is quite delicate but so far so good.

Boots - Rocket Dog
Cardigan - Matalan

My face is swollen today, and I am not sure why, hoping its allergy and not teeth as cant cope with more dentist!

So So Pretty!

I also wanted to show you the fabulous coat I received from simply be a while ago, I haven't been able to show you straight away as all the snow was a little unsuitable for the leather look sleeves.
the body of the coat is lovely and warm but not stiflingly so, but I do find I need a cardigan on under to make the sleeves warm enough on a colder day.

I plan to solve this problem by slipping a light weight fleece under as soon as I find one thin enough as I don't want to add bulk under it.

The colour is gorgeous and rich and I love the collarless style, but I would love to see something similar  but in a swing skirt style coat as it is a very up and down coat, but it is so lovely I forgive it and wear it to death!

Hope you are all having a fabulous weekend.
