Fatshion Faceoff - Polka Dot Top

Polka dots are one of my most favourite things in the world, but I do not own nearly enough!

So when I spotted this top in dorothy Perkins I wanted it desperately but at £24 it was more than I was willing to pay out just now for a top, So last week when perusing the Dorothy Perkins website and I realised it had gone down in the sale to £12 I snapped it up quickly and I love it, if you manage to get one though I would say size down as I am always a 22 in DP but in this top I could have easily gone for a 20.

I am afraid my pictures this week are from my mobil and not great, but my camera was charging for the wedding I was attending this on Thursday.

Polka dots and peplums I am in heaven!

Check out the other gorgeous ladies this week and see how good they look in polka dots!

Fatshin Faceoff - Floral Dress

This weeks Fatshion Faceoff was chosen by me and unfortunately I am so unwell today that I haven't managed to take any photos, so I am being a little naughty and showing you some older photos of me in my various floral dresses, the first is my newest dress and one of the favourites in my wardrobe.

I bought it from Simply Be not really knowing if I would like it but when it arrived I fell in love with it instantly, it is the Fit and flare mirror print dress form Simply Be and is inspired by D&G, it is not often us fatties get something so pretty and on trend! It is fully lined and a very nice material that is quite stiff, but not restricting.

Simply Be Fit and Flare Dress £70
My second floral dress is this beautiful maxi which I purchased with the gift voucher I received from Becky of http://www.doesmyblogmakemelookfat.com/ for filling out her survey, she ran a prize draw for everyone who filled it out.
I adore this dress but Haven't had much use of it yet as it is very long and I need to get it taken up a bit first, so will be getting it sorted soon, as I want to wear it this winter with long sleeved tops to and jumpers as it will cheer up my winter wardrobe!

Yours Clothing Navy Bird Print Maxi Dress £35

My last floral Item is my Glamourosa tunic from Simply be which has a little ditzy floral print on it that is very pretty, I have had my tunic all summer and worn it to death and it it is now a bit too big for me, but I don't want to let it go so have been wearing it with a wide belt to cinch it in a bit.
If like me you have an ample bust the Glamourosa range is very good.
This one isn't available anymore but there is a purple long sleeved one available Here

So ladies do you do floral, do you like bold or discrete florals let me know below, and make sure you check out the other gorgeous ladies in there florals!

Fatshion Faceoff - Neon Accessory

Neon Accessory

THis weeks Fatshion Faceoff has been chosen by the gorgeous LuAnne of Weesha's World.
Neon is not something I would normally wear even as an accessory it just scares me a little bit, I was tempted to entertain your all and change my dads tyre in one of his fluorescent vests and do a bit of roadside chic! but instead I popped out to the shops and looked for something in neon that didn't terrify me too much, there was so much tut in the shops it was scary but in the end I settled for a simply neon yellow necklace from Accessorize which set me back a whopping £1 and a bag and a clutch bag form Newlook in the sale for £8.

I am surprised to say that I would use both of these items again, I think the bag could be fab for jazzing up a plain office outfit with a little dazzle of colour!  The necklace is so simply that even though it is so bright it could go with lots of my clothing.

My phone can't pick up the main colour very well in this image but it isn't as grey as it looks its more stone I cant find this one in this colour online, but they have a black and pink version which is still full price available HERE

I teamed it with my trusty Newlook blue dress from last winter as it was a bit chilly out there and my heeled shoes for a night out!

The pink is looking really washed out in the screen but it is very bright just like the picture above!

So how brave are you, do you love neon and wear it often, accessorise are a good way of trying new trends without committing to expensive statement pieces that might frighten you into not wearing them at all!

Go check out the other wonderful ladies this week and see how their takes on Neon worked out!
