Excite offer a range of plus size clothing from a 16-26 as well as a range from an 8-14 which is really good.

I love the mix of of items that Excite offer, I have two of there dresses and they are firm favourites in my wardrobe, I also want to try out the Jeggings that the gorgeous Rosie is raving about in her post.

The skort that we were all sent was the Dogtooth Midi Skirt, it comes in three colours, Blue, Black and Whit and Coral. I received it in the Black and white and it is quite fabulous, I rarely wear skirts as I am more of a dress or jeans type of girl but this actually surprised me.

I feel really good in the skirt and think I could fairly easily dress it down, I really want to buy the blue colour too as I love it.

Simply Be - Whats New

My love of simply be is not a secret and yet again they are blowing me away!

I have pulled together a few of my favourite items for you.

Shorts are the bane of my life, they always ride up, they did even when I was skinny, but these I would be willing to try all over again with!  I love the studs and the frayed edge.

The colours of this dress are perfect, I love electric blues, and teemed with the bright yellows and reds in this dress I am in love, but can I get over my fear of the body con?

This skirt is very much me in the 90's and I love it just as much now, which might be worrying, but I just don't care!

I love a good maxi dress and this one is gorgeous, it is bold and fun just what I need to brighten my summer!

I am totally and utterly in lust with this whole outfit, I am drying to try print on print and this is so beautiful I want it to be this!

I have been looking for the perfect trench coat for as long as I can remember and this one ticks a lot of my boxes, I love the khaki colour and that it is softened with the peplum this really might have to find its way into my wardrobe!

Has anything new at simply be caught your eye?

My Sales Picks

For this years sales I am totally and utterly broke! Therefore I thought I would pick some sale items that I am lusting after for you all to see, and dream of winning the lottery for another week!

First up is ASOS

ASOS curve Peplum Top in Tartan £20 was £40
I have a bit of a thing for tartan, but it is never made in plus sizes and while this isn't traditional tartan, I just love it, but kind of wish it was a V neck, I wonder if it can be altered somehow????

ASOS Curve Exclusive Fur Peplum Coat £38 was £85
When I went out with my husband for his christmas party I ended up just taking a shawl as my coats weren't dressy enough, this would have been perfect, I am hoping to get my hands on one before they sell out in my size, as it is fabulous!

ASOS Curve Wiggle Dress in Wallpaper Print £25 was £42
I wasn't sure about this until I saw it on ZeZaftig this morning and she looks amazing in it!
Now I need it!

Its tartan! what more is there to say.

Next up is Evans

I have been looking for something smart casual to wear with jeans out to lunch and shopping and I love this, navy is a bit of a love for me!

Swan by Clements Ribeiro Colour Block Doris Dress £30 was £65
I actually already have this dress, and it is only available in a couple of sizes 20 and 22 last time I checked, but it is a beautiful dress that I highly recommend!

Swan by Clements Ribeiro Corsage Embellished Cardigan £30 was £65 and Swan by Clements Ribeiro Lace Grace Dress £20 was £55
This is just such a gorgeous Cardi I love it belted like in the picture above and it would just add a little loveliness to any outfit!

Swan by Clements Ribeiro Contrast Trim Toggle Coat £60 was £125
This is a bit of a marmite coat, and I never had a chance to try it on, but I can imagine it with lovely thick jumper underneath and walking through the park in it!

Next up is Simply Be

Hush Puppies Lace Boots EE Fit £45
I adore these boots, and they come in four colours, but the Green is my favourite!

Cropped Floral Print Trousers £20
So many of the girls looked amazing in these trousers last year and I think they would look amazing for the spring!

Printed Peplum Top £18
I also have this top and it is fantastic! but size down, I got it in my usual 20 but think I should have gone for the 18!

Anna Scholz Side Pleat Dress £35
Sometimes we just need a walk on the wild side!

Anna Scholz Crinkle Bird Trim Dress £34
I think this is a fabulous little black dress and would make a great addition to my wardrobe!

and finally New Look

Who can say no to a bit of sparkle this would be fabulous with the

Koko Gold Sequin capped sleeve dress £35
I saw some fabulous ladies in sequins this year and wish I was brave enough to go for it! I do love this one!

Koko Black and White Pearl Trim Peplum Dress £20
I love this dress, so simple but I love the pearls on the neck line, its a good one for work I think!

So thats my picks from the sales, has anything caught your eye?

Fatshion Faceoff - Red Shoes

Good evening, sorry for my short absence from my blog, I needed some time to recharge and get myself together as I have not been coping well with life recently and the amount of studying I needed to do had overwhelmed me slightly.

I am feeling much better and ready and raring to go again and what better way to come back but with a fabulous outfit and Red Shoes!

These shoes are very old I am afraid about 5 or 6 years old I think so not likely to find the exact ones, but they were from Debenhams which has a fabulous shoe department that I love!

The dress I am wearing is the one I picked up with my voucher for Excite clothing that I won on CurvyWordys blog competition and I love it, you can also see it on the gorgeous FullerFigureFullerBust in the Wine version of the dress which is still available online.

But back the the red shoes!

There is something about red shoes I love, I am instantly drawn to them in shops and always notice them on other people.
They are great for adding a splash of colour to an otherwise simple outfit and to be honest they look fabulous with most things.

I have to apologise for looking a little rough, but this is what happens when I hibernate for two weeks without seeing sunlight.

But head on over to the other ladies and see how they have worn their Red Shoes!

Clothing at Tesco Review

Being part of the Plus Size Panel  allowed me to give you a sneak peek at the upcoming AW12 True range and also got to give you guys a little giveaway, on top of that Tesco kindly offered us a gift card to use for ourselves to give you a review of some of the items.

I chose to get a couple of tops and a jacket as these are items my wardrobe is craving, and I have not been disappointed quality wise at all, they have arrived and are all lovely.

From the True range I chose the F&F True Kimono Jacket and the F&F True floral Printed Top

This top is loose and flowing, and so pretty, I like the weight of it, you could easily add a top under for the winter to make it a bit more weather appropriate!

I love that the jacket follows the line of the top perfectly, some days I do not want to wear a belt to accentuate my curves, sometimes I just want to be comfortable and relaxed!

I teamed them with my skinny (not so) Black jeans and some heels (will be reviewing these tomorrow)
This is perfect for me to wear shopping or to the cinema on date night.

Now for my next item I went for something from the main range as the point in the plus size panel is to get feedback to the plus buyers to help them move the brand on, and something I would say is they need to be braver, just because I am plus sized does not mean I always want loose flowing clothing sometimes I want structure and shape, so I decided to give the Lace Print Peplum Top a go to show i like fitted tops.

My face is a bit worrying in this one :) I love it with the jacket, and can imagine getting lots of wear out of this, I can see it working in an office environment as easily as a night on the town!

I think I want to try it with a belt just above the peplum to pull it in a little and show off the peplum more, but i still love it just like this!

A little sneak peek of the shoes :)

I have loved working with Tescos and hope to do so again in the future as I would love to see the brand going forward and the plus side going from strength to strength, Just please do not fall into the trap of always playing it safe!

We want diversity in our clothing there is always a need for the basics but sometimes we just wanna have fun!!!

Asos Curve

Can you win me over?

I keep seeing so many items on ASOS that I fall instantly in love with, but after seeing so many posts from other bloggers last year about sizing issues and quality problems, I have been holding back, especially as the one Item I did buy I was very unimpressed with and ended up cutting it up and making it into a maxi skirt from a dress.

but recently I have been finding myself clicking on my bookmark for the site and looking at the clothing over and over!

here are a few of my favourite items at the moment...

Aqua Maxi Dress £30
Butterfly Print Dress £38
Midi Dress with Cross Back £65

Peplum Skirt £30
Multi Colour Midi Dress £35
Aqua Midi Skirt £35
Birdcage Dress £38

Oh there are so many pretty things I really want but do I trust the quality and fit enough to spend my money with them?
