Fatshion Faceoff - Hoop Earrings

This weeks challenge is hoop earrings and I was a little daunted as they are not something I have ever chosen to wear, they can look gorgeous on some people but can very easily slip into the Vicky Pollard territory if not executed well.

I also have to admit that while out shopping for the earrings there was a surprisingly good selection to suit all tastes from simply gold hoops to crazy patterned and small ones.
The pair I choose I like because they had a little something extra and fitted my style much more than the gold hoops I would normally associate with hoop earrings.

I liked the pretty disks!

These are more my taste and still technically a hoop just a twisted one, but these ones are £85 (Beaverbrooks) and the ones I managed to find for my current budget were £5 from Claires but I think I may ask for these ones for christmas!

I am afraid that there is no full outfit this week as the dog decided to jump up right before the photos were taken and mud covered is not the look I was aiming for :)

Go see the other gorgeous ladies in there earrings!

Fatshion Faceoff - Playsuit/jumpsuit

This weeks Fatshion Faceoff was chosen by me, I really want to find a playsuit/ Jumpsuit that works for me, being very short and carrying a lot of weight on my middle at the moment.

I ordered this from Dorothy perking a while ago and I do love the shape and colour of it, but alas, it still isn't quite right for me but being brave, thought I should still show you all my look.

Excuse the state of our lawn, the dogs have destroyed it, we are planning on laying more paving up there for next year and fill it with beautiful pots and furniture :)

Think this will be added to my to sell pile would be much better on some one much taler than me, it feels gorgeous on, its lovely and silky.

My hunt for the perfect jumpsuit continues, hopefully the other ladies can give me some inspiration, head on over to see how they have styled this weeks challenge!

Evans Shoes - Review

Earlier this year I was contacted by the lovely team at Evans and asked if I would like to review some of the new AW12 shoe range, now as I am a shoe addict I said yes please!

Now I had been expecting a pair to arrive but 2 beautiful pairs of heels arrived which were totally gorgeous, the stunning blue pair which I have worn with one of my Fatshion faceoff post Here are at the smaller end of the size scale for my feet, I wear anything from a 5 to a 6 these are a size 5 and a little snug on my swollen feet days, but the black are perfect, seen Here and Here

Both have lovely round heels that are perfect to walk in for me as I am usually a bit tottery on heels, and a small front platform, which I cant live without!

Both shoes are a fantastic addition to your AW wardrobe and the Flexisoles are fabulous!

Evans were also kind enough to later send me out a pair of boots and some ballet flats, which also turned out to be fabulous, the boots are the patent brogues which I have already had a tonne of wear out of and the other pair are the snake skin toe and heel flats which are very pretty but unfortunately the incorrect size so I haven't been able to wear these to tell you about the comfort, but they are supper pretty to look at!

I adore the brogue detailing on these boots and they also have a chelsea boot elasticated type side which is fabulous, they are unbelievably comfy and I think I am going to wear them to death in the next few months!

The Flats are gorgeous too, I wish I could wear them as they look amazingly comfortable but a size 4 sadly will not go on my foot!

The feel beautiful, supple and soft with a lovely lining, and again the Flexisoles so comfort is highly likely!

If you want to buy any of these shoes which I would highly recommend head over to Evans for a look!

EVANS BLACK AND NEUTRAL SNAKE PLATFORM COURT SHOES £35

EVANS BLUE PLAIN PLATFORM SHOES £35

EVANS BROGUEING DETAIL CHELSEA BOOT £39.50

EVANS BLACK METAL DISC PUMPS £27

Fatshion Faceoff - Statement Ring

Statement Rings

This weeks Fatshion Faceoff instills dread in me if I am honest! I avoid rings as I am not a fan of my hands at all, and only own a couple, the ring I am wearing is from Primark and cost £2 I loved the colour but hardly wear it.

Having worn it today with my outfit, I realise my hands don't look as bad as I see them in my head, and i like what the ring brings to my outfit, so maybe it is time to get out and buy some statement rings and be brave!

I just realised my top has become rather untucked as it was in more than this when I started my day but hey ho, I am wearing my new Tesco top with my New look Skirt, I need to find a new maxi for the winter which is a bit of a heavier fabric as this is lovely but so thin and it creases far too easily for my liking!

So do you go in for the whole statement ring thing or do you like your hands clear and simple?

Check out the other beautiful ladies this week to see their take on the whole look!

Clothing at Tesco Review

Being part of the Plus Size Panel  allowed me to give you a sneak peek at the upcoming AW12 True range and also got to give you guys a little giveaway, on top of that Tesco kindly offered us a gift card to use for ourselves to give you a review of some of the items.

I chose to get a couple of tops and a jacket as these are items my wardrobe is craving, and I have not been disappointed quality wise at all, they have arrived and are all lovely.

From the True range I chose the F&F True Kimono Jacket and the F&F True floral Printed Top

This top is loose and flowing, and so pretty, I like the weight of it, you could easily add a top under for the winter to make it a bit more weather appropriate!

I love that the jacket follows the line of the top perfectly, some days I do not want to wear a belt to accentuate my curves, sometimes I just want to be comfortable and relaxed!

I teamed them with my skinny (not so) Black jeans and some heels (will be reviewing these tomorrow)
This is perfect for me to wear shopping or to the cinema on date night.

Now for my next item I went for something from the main range as the point in the plus size panel is to get feedback to the plus buyers to help them move the brand on, and something I would say is they need to be braver, just because I am plus sized does not mean I always want loose flowing clothing sometimes I want structure and shape, so I decided to give the Lace Print Peplum Top a go to show i like fitted tops.

My face is a bit worrying in this one :) I love it with the jacket, and can imagine getting lots of wear out of this, I can see it working in an office environment as easily as a night on the town!

I think I want to try it with a belt just above the peplum to pull it in a little and show off the peplum more, but i still love it just like this!

A little sneak peek of the shoes :)

I have loved working with Tescos and hope to do so again in the future as I would love to see the brand going forward and the plus side going from strength to strength, Just please do not fall into the trap of always playing it safe!

We want diversity in our clothing there is always a need for the basics but sometimes we just wanna have fun!!!
