Asos Curve

Can you win me over?

I keep seeing so many items on ASOS that I fall instantly in love with, but after seeing so many posts from other bloggers last year about sizing issues and quality problems, I have been holding back, especially as the one Item I did buy I was very unimpressed with and ended up cutting it up and making it into a maxi skirt from a dress.

but recently I have been finding myself clicking on my bookmark for the site and looking at the clothing over and over!

here are a few of my favourite items at the moment...

Aqua Maxi Dress £30
Butterfly Print Dress £38
Midi Dress with Cross Back £65

Peplum Skirt £30
Multi Colour Midi Dress £35
Aqua Midi Skirt £35
Birdcage Dress £38

Oh there are so many pretty things I really want but do I trust the quality and fit enough to spend my money with them?

  1. I totally missed that maxi dress! Didn't realise it was in such a gorgeous colour! I want! Haha.

I would definetely try Asos, if it doesn't fit the returns are very quick and free, so worth a try! :D I live in Asos Curve!

    1. YOu always look so good in it too, but every time I order something it ends up fitting badly :( but people seem to think it is getting better again, so maybe it is time for me to go for it again :) the maxi is such a beautiful colour, I like the orange but the blue is amazing! x

  2. Personally, I love ASOS. I've not really had any problems with them, and if I have, it's not something thats really bothered me. Only one item I've ordered hasn't fitted correctly and I think that was my shape. Also, compared to some Australian stores, it's really affordable.

    1. Australian clothing does seem expensive, but over here I find ASOS more on the expensive side, but there are so many pretty items on there at the moment that I am very tempted!

  5. See, thats exactly the dilema I have with Curve, in that I love, adore and worship the clothes I see on there, but I just know that when I finally order something, with my luck regarding mail order, I'll end up with the gorgeous item not fitting in places it should....that being said, that birdcage dress needs to be mine!

    2. I know this comment is really really old but I find their size guide strikingly accurate for the items I have. Which are dresses but I have a UK 22/ US 18 dress for instance and there is exactly about 1.5 inches of leeway in the waist which is accurate from my measurements/the size guide.

  7. I got the peplum skirt in black, in a size 50 and it's a) shorter than I expected, and b) a snug fit. HOWEVER, the snug fit is ok because it has that "flap" around the hip area and doesn't look unflattering; AND, I think the quality is pretty good. I had hoped it would be longer, as so far, every skirt I have ordered from them has been longer on me (I'm 5'7.5" tall) than on the model (who I believe is 5'9" tall or so). I ordered my first dress from them yesterday, which should be here by the end of the week!! Let's hope their dress sizing in ok on me!!

    1. I love the peplum trend at the moment, it is definitely flattering, shame it isn't a bit longer for you, I have the opposite problem most of the time, being only 5'2 means everything is long on me :) xx
