Festive Party Dresses

Christmas Party season is well underway, and I have been looking at all the fabulously festive offerings available to us plus size Ladies.

I saw this picture on the simply be tumblr this morning and instantly fell in love with this dress, I love the draped material at the front, the shape of the bust line.
Sequin Shoulder Maxi Dress £68

Next on my festive list of lovelies is this gorgeous purple dress from Style 369 with stunning pearl collar detail, The colour looks so festive and warm.
Lovedrobe Purple Pearl Trim Skater Dress £40.00

I have been really liking some of the dresses from yours clothing and I particularly love the gorgeous bright blue of this one, it is a nice midi length which at only 5'2" I find hard to pull off, but would be gorgeous on some of you lovely ladies.
Blue Embellished Waist Midi Dress £35
I love this dress so so much it is so festive and sparkly, Dorothy Perkins have got many beautiful outfits for the festive season and this can work well for so many shapes and sizes I still want to buy it for myself!
Purple 50's Circle Dress £42
Another offering from Yours clothing, this dress is very simple and flattering great for many occasions.
Black and Silver Trim Mesh Dress £30
And finally Asos have made me so happy with this dress, I may find the neckline difficult with my broad shoulders but this can be solved with a simple shrug and I am willing to give it a go just for its spotty gorgeousness!
Asos Curve Skater Dress in Spot Lace £45

Do these dresses set your heart all a flutter or have you chosen something else let me know what your perfect party outfit is. x

Jumper dresses

I have been asked for a guide to finding some nice plus size jumper dresses, so I have been scouring the internet to see what I can find.

I love this jumper it looks so cozy I always get too warm so like the short sleeves and would wear it with a long sleeve top under if I needed the warmth. It is available from size 14 to 28 from the style 369 website.

This jumper dress is available from Evans from a size 14 to a 32

I like the detail on the hem of this dress, and and the shape is good for skimming over the sins, Evans have a nice collection this winter!

I love the gorgeous jewel tones around just now, greens and reds and purples make me happy, this happy number is from Ann Harvey.

Lovely detail around the neck stops this stone coloured One stop plus dress from being boring.

Simply be have a nice collection too, this one looks soft, but I am not sure how it would cope with my big bust.

I love the cute hearts on this Jumper again from Simply Be and I think it looks long enough to wear with leggings as a dress, but best to check length first I am short so everything looks long to me!

This dress from Simply Be looks so comfy and a nice wool too.

I am not sure what the wool is like in these dresses, I am extremely fussy, if it is even slightly itchy I freak out and can't wear it, but most people aren't as insane as me :) xx

Coats!!!!

Coat shopping is my most dreaded time of year, I love coats, I have about 10 in various sizes and states, BUT... Every year I am reduced to tears, last year was in BHS the year before was in Debenhams, the reason for this is the utter frustration of the differences in sizing from shop to shop and even in the same shop.

I have boobs, so often even when I fall in love with a coat I cant do the bloody thing up, my husbands dreads my coat shopping trips and I honestly cant blame him,.

Below are a few I have fallen for online some I will never be able to wear, but a girl has to have a dream right?

The Dorothy Perkins red duffle coat is such a pretty colour and I love the patent buckles, this should go around my boobs!

Next is the Camel piped duffle coat from Evans/ Style 369 it is very lovely but camel can make me look a bit washed out so would have to try it.

The Simply Be Double breasted duffle coat is divine, but due to my boobs I doubt I could wear it, this makes me a sad bunny :(

I love the ASOS coat, it just looks so cozy and warm, but I cant decide if it is worth the £95 price tag!

Anna Scholz, omg I love this cape, never liked them until I saw this on the gorgeous Boombands Em in her Anna Scholz review, and she looked stunning in it!

What shapes do you find best and where do you shop for the perfect coat.

Please feel free to leave a comment, I do love getting them :)

Wedding Guests

Wedding Guest and puppy love!

On Saturday we attended the wedding of an old friend, it was such a beautiful day and the bride was amazing!

It was held in a gorgeous little hotel just outside Wigan in Standish called Ashfield house hotel

I was feeling very ill that day after a 3 hour drive to my parents in west yorkshire then another hour drive to the wedding after a short break and getting changed.

I had originally planned to wear a gorgeous maxi dress I bought from Evans but due to a nightmare taking it up, I instead wore my favourite silvery grey dress from Style 369 from a while ago.

I looked a bit of a mess to be honest my hair decided to not go curly and i was pale and pasty all day, lol But i still felt lovely as my Husband thought I looked gorgeous, so all was good in the end.

The other guests wore some beautiful clothes too, sixties shift style dresses, colour blocking and Maxi dresses.

Please excuse the hilariously bad pictures but my best friend Andrew told me to say Cervix! he does this to me a lot.
My Husband Marc puts up with my craziness very well, Thank goodness.

This weekend we finally had to admit that my dog Toby did get my mum and dads dog Ruby pregnant, so will be finding some good homes for puppies in a few weeks I think.
She is a total babe though!
 Hello Puppies!! xxxx

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend and have a good week ahead of you.

My Lust List!
I was going to make a small list of items which have caught my eye this week, but as you can see it got a bit out of hand, I am loving all the new items coming into the shops and found it impossible to whittle it down any further.
Hope you like some of my finds.
